Empowering Physical Education

Develop Your Skills with OUR ELEARNING platform

Your Path to Success

We believe in the transformative power of Physical Education to promote inclusion, motivation, and lifelong well-being.
Achieving this mission requires specific skills that help teachers, students, and communities create engaging, equitable and meaningful learning environments.

Through PRO-PHY-EDU, universities and schools from Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain are working together to design and implement digital tools that enhance teacher training, classroom innovation, and student success.

OUR ELEARNING MODULES

Module 1: Cultural Context Analysis

This module introduces the cultural, social, historical, institutional and political factors that shape Physical Education across Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain. Instead of focusing on technical sports content, it explores how cultural narratives influence the idea of success, participation, body norms, inclusion, motivation and educational values.

Module 2: Adaptability Assessment

This module analyses the training needs of future PE teachers in Brazil and Chile. It highlights major gaps such as: the theory to practice divide, insufficient preparation for inclusion and diversity, limited digital competence, inconsistent practicum supervision, lack of innovation and minimal training in socioemotional skills.

Module 3: Collaborative Curriculum Design

This module provides practical frameworks to redesign PE curricula based on the needs identified in Module 2. It introduces Universal Design for Learning, Diversity and Inclusion approaches, the use of educational technologies and gamified learning strategies.

Module 4: Teacher Training and Support

This module focuses on developing concrete teacher competencies for real PE contexts. It works on autonomy support, critical thinking, inclusion strategies, group management, interdisciplinary approaches, motivational climates, active methodologies and formative assessment.

Module 5: Community Engagement and Feedback

This module creates a participatory space where teachers, students and stakeholders from Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain interact within the AGORA community. It brings together contributors from all four countries to exchange ideas through three thematic forums that explore how success in Physical Education is understood, how local training needs emerge and how the programme itself can be improved. The emphasis is on dialogue, co creation, reflection and continuous improvement.
